Qualifications - Master's Degree in HR Management OR 3-5 years of increasing experience in Human Resources in a public school district; OR
- PDE Administrative or Supervisory certification with strong experience in Human Resources.
The Supervisor of Human Resources provides leadership and support in human resources management including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, certification management, salary administration, and Board Agenda management. The Supervisor of Human Resources shall have knowledge of organizational leadership and communication and can carry out duties with accuracy and minimal supervision. Reports to the Assistant Superintendent Job Duties include:
- Ensure efficient operations between the Business Office and Human Resources Office
- Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and hiring of various district staff.
- Act as liaison to vendors of contracted staff (e.g., for instuctional aides).
- Manage all related items of teacher certification and program approvals.
- Oversee completion of mandated trainings for all staff.
- Ensure job descriptions are compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Prepare notifications to employees regarding leaves of absence, change of status, resignation/retirement.
- Keep abreast of federal, state, and local regulations to assist the Assistant Superintendent with meeting compliance standards.
- Ensure all HR Policies are applied consistently.
- Support administrators with investigations and termination proceedings.
- Supervise the HR Generalist and HR Administrative Assistant as related to information management,
- Accompany the Assistant Superintendent and/or attend job fair opportunities.
- Attend cabinet and/or school board meetings as needed or in the absence of the Assistant Superintendent.
- Support Title IX Coordinator in management of investigations and complaints.
- Respond to all county HR surveys and represent the district at local HR meetings.
- Oversee the ADA interactive process for employee
