**NIGHT SHIFT DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR**

**SHIFT: 6pm to 6am**

**1** **st** **WEEK: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36 hours)**

**2** **nd** **WEEK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours)**

Plans, organizes, and manages assigned work groups within the production areas.

+ Ensures that production equipment is working safely and efficiently.

+ Ensures that production goals are achieved

+ Ensures quality control measures are met.

+ Coordinates maintenance needs for departmental operations.

+ Coordinates with scheduling department to maintain daily operations

+ Ensures operations are within specifications.

+ Coordinate the training and development of their employees as needed.

+ Administers company policies correctly and in a uniform manner

+ Responsible for attendance, performance and corrective action of all associates in assigned area

+ Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.

Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to read and write English. Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and ISO quality standards preferred. Basic computer literacy. 5 years manufacturing experience. Lead or previous supervisory experience preferred. Core competencies include strong communication skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills, conflict resolution skills and ability to train, motivate, and coach associates.
