Supervisor, Production - Nutrien : Job Details

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for guiding the safe implementation of the daily duties of the Phosphoric Acid department at Nutrien in Aurora with a focus on daily production. The Shift Supervisor plans, directs, coordinates, and implements daily activities based on the published schedule or directive. The supervisor will monitor the progress of daily activities; deal with any identified obstacles that limit the productivity of the team, conduct site visits to ensure that all assigned work is performed in a safe manner. The supervisor will work closely with the employees and ensure that the companys business targets and safety, health & environmental policies are met. Responsibilities: Ability to operate all plant equipment to ensure optimum production. Conducts team meetings, assists safety team with inspections and getting problems solved.
