SUPPLEMENTAL TRANSFER STATION ATTENDANT

Fulton County Department of Solid Waste

Substitute wanted to fill in for 7 transfer stations located throughout the county.

Hours vary, as needed - $20.46 per hour

• Part-time, per diem position.
• Assisting customers.
• Opening and closing of transfer station.
• Inform residents of proper garbage disposal and recycling guidelines.
• Ensure all safety measures are adhered to by residents.
• Operate garbage and recycling compactor.
• Check vehicles for transfer station permit.
• Keep station clean.
• Light grounds upkeep.
• Tabulate resident usage and monitor a variety of drop off recycling programs.
• Operate transfer station in accordance with the Department of Environmental Conservation requirements and best practice guidelines.
