**About this role**

The **Supplier Performance Specialist** supports the engineered components category team with supplier risk analytics, business cases and leadership presentations. This is a growth opportunity and will work directly with the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing.

This opportunity is located at Carriers HQ in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Maintains dashboard for spend under contract

+ Supports financial analysis for category strategies

+ Maintains models for critical MPF commodities impacting engineering components

+ Review supplier financial health dashboard for publicly available data and inputs the same for resiliency categorization and supplier segmentation.

+ Review strategy which optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation. Leverage understanding of Technical industry, sourcing concepts, and lean tools to ensure parts delivered on time at best cost and quality.

+ Knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree and 2+ years experience in supply chain or finance or 1+ year of experience in supply chain or finance and a Masters degree

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM)

+ Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

+ Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools

+ Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data

+ Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category specific experience

+ Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment

+ Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication

+ Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization
