The purpose of the position is to assess quality and ensure all products are free from defects and in compliance with engineering and manufacturing specifications and standards. The Engineer works to resolve any quality issues and provide guidance on process enhancements and improvements. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelors/Associates degree and/or Technical experience.4+ years of experience with supplier quality in relation to assembly, electrical, or fabrication products or other OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Knowledge of PPAP/SPAP, control plans, capability analysis, and DFMEA/PFMEA methodology.Willing to travel up to 30-50% to suppliers across the globe.Self driven/Self Starter mentality. Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience within the railroad industry.
