Supplies (Forklift) - 2nd ShiftDepartment: Packaging Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: La Vergne, TN Description Trinidad Benham Corp., a national leader in the consumer food products industry, is seeking an Inventory/Supplies person for our LaVergne, TN facility. This position is responsible for maintaining the needed Supplies for all 2nd shift Production machines as well as Inventory Cycle Counting. Key Responsibilities • Operate forklift in a safe, productive manner. • Supply production with necessary packaging materials on a timely basis. • Supply caseprinter with supplies on a timely basis. • Assist with pulling finished product from packaging room as needed. • Maintain effective working relationship with machine operators and supervisors. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including racks where materials are stored. • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor. • Follow all SQF/GMP/Food Safety procedures. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time. • Have a good work history as evidenced by excellent attendance and job performance. • Have good safety/sanitation record. • Be able to pass forklift driving and safety tests. • Must be proficient in operating both a sitdown and standup forklift and Cherry Picker. • Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. • Be able to lift 75-100 pounds with assistance. • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, good math skills a plus. • Be an efficient, self-motivated, fast-paced worker.
