- Assists with the process required to manage and maintain accurate inventory information, including participating in the intercompany transfer process, the entry of work orders, purchase orders and scheduling.
- Identifies discrepancies or potential problems with acknowledgments, packing lists, shipments or invoices and resolves any questionable charges or discrepancies.
- Works with receiving departments, buyers, and vendors to resolve quality and discrepancies issues.
- Checks acknowledgements forms, packing lists and invoices and works with appropriate buyers and vendors to reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitors and closes open purchase orders with back-orders that will not be received.
- Ensures the purchase to pay process by entry and the maintenance of purchase orders through vendor payments are complete.
- Provides for miscellaneous administrative requirements.
What will qualify you for this role?
- High School Diploma
- One to three years' experience in purchasing or related administrative functions
- Functional knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
- Capability to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors both verbally and in written form.
- Capacity to multi-task with speed and accuracy while prioritizing tasks and ability to maintain excellent organizational skills.
Above and Beyond Qualifications
- A degree in business management or a comparable field is preferred.
- Working knowledgeable of Pivot Tables and Macros.
