The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Defining customer requirements and identify problem areas, service failures, and improvement opportunities to support current and future customer/business needs
  • Designing supply chain solutions that may include the following areas: Inventory/Buffer management, Material Flow, Capacity Analysis, Information Flow and IT Systems
  • Developing plans to implement supply chain solutions that will achieve measurable business results
  • Assembling and leading project teams to implement supply chain solutions, report progress on supply chain process improvement to plant management
  • Establishing a close working relationship with business unit management; recommending and influencing business unit supply chain activities
  • Becoming the resident expert in use and application of existing/new planning tools and make recommendations to the plant on their application
  • Supporting new planning tool implementations in the plant
  • Establishing measurement and tracking systems to monitor and report supply chain performance, including service attainment, supply chain speed/inventory turns, inventory and buffer levels, waste/yield, cycle times, forecast accuracy/manufacturing attainment, transportation time and cost, etc.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering or related field (completed and verified prior to start) AND Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment.

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND Nine (9) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in business, Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Nine (9) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment
  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification
  • Experience leading cross functional project teams implementing supply chain solutions
  • Strong ERP background using SAP/i2 Factory Planner/i2 Supply Chain Planner/ or similar system
  • Experience working and negotiating with suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills, able to perform data analysis with mass data sets
  • Strong problem-solving and communications skills

Work location: Onsite in Monrovia, CA

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
