Job Description :
Position Summary The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for the procurement of chemical materials for the Chemical Distribution and Chemical Management programs at Chemico.Also is responsible for maintenance, administration, and upkeep of supplier and product data in the MAS (ERP system). Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Supply Chain Associate I
    • Creates purchase orders in MAS based on customer requests or requirements and sends purchase orders to appropriate supplier.
    • Follow up with suppliers to confirm receipt of purchase order and assure required delivery dates can be met.
    • Tracks order progress to receipt of goods at customer location.
    • Interacts with customers and on-site personnel on delivery, quality or any other issues on purchase order.
    • Update and maintain supplier contact information in MAS.
    • Update and maintain all product information in MAS including product pricing, lead time, shipping requirements, unit of measure, container volume, etc.
    • Establishes and continually manages effective supplier relations.
    • Performs other duties and special projects as required.
  • Supply Chain Associate II
    • Can effectively perform all duties of Supply Chain Associate I.
    • Process material receipts and selling of chemical materials in MAS.
    • Complete customer invoices, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and monitor inventory levels.
    • Assists in identification of alternate materials and suppliers.
    • Assists Program Manager with physical inventory (where applicable).
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Purchasing, or related field of study is desired, a minimum of an associate degree is required or a minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.
  • Ability to work with both technical and administrative personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative and data management skills.
  • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
