Become a key player:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Climate Program Manager (Contractor) to join our Global Source 2 Pay team. This individual will play a key role in achieving Adobe's NetZero by 2050 and near-term 2030 climate targets across our supplier base while supporting our Supplier Diversity efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of scope 3 emissions inventory practices and data management, supplier engagement strategies, capability building, and how these align with organizational goals to reduce climate impact and promote holistic supplier risk management.
Here's how you'll make an impact on the team: - Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the procurement climate roadmap within the Global Source 2 Pay (Global S2P).
- Collaborate with business owners, category managers, and suppliers to drive accountability through action-oriented engagements, data collection, and reporting.
- Establish and operationalize processes and tools to scale a single supplier engagement program for climate and diversity commitments
- Identify and prioritize supplier engagement strategies within strategic sourcing operations.
- Work closely with the Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Manager to streamline climate outreach initiatives with supplier diversity program outreach project.
- Develop communications and manage relationships with key suppliers to progress towards absolute emissions reductions.
- Identify supplier specific data that Adobe needs to capture to track emissions reductions and ensure that it can be presented in PowerBI dashboards for internal stakeholder consumption, tracking program KPIs, and recommending areas for improvement.
- Participate in industry working groups to stay current with best practices, trends, and regulations.
- Assist in the creation of long-term supply chain decarbonization initiatives for potential investment into Adobe's supplier emissions management strategy.
- Partner with internal teams such as Procurement, Compliance, Legal and Social Impact and Communications to align on program goals and requirements.
- Create guidance documents and capacity development trainings for suppliers on how to create science-based targets.
- Support the integration of emission reduction criteria into sourcing and procurement processes, including RFPs, contracts, and supplier assessments.
Here's what you'll need to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sustainability program management, ideally within a supply chain or procurement function.
- Experience with supplier diversity and vendor risk programs and knowledge of best practices for supplier engagement on sustainability topics.
- Strong understanding of emissions reduction frameworks and standards, such as the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU CSRD), CDP, and California's SB253.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with supplier performance management and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, etc.) is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to creating positive environmental and social impact through sourcing.
Pay Range: $41.00 - $45.75/hour
