Supply Chain Coordinator - Turbine Services : Job Details

Turbine Services Ltd. (TSL) is a leading provider of replacement gas turbine parts offering complete coverage of most GE large frame turbines. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Coordinator in our office/warehouse in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Production: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of producing turbine parts, ensuring timely and efficient production processes.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.

Forecasting: Work with Sales to anticipate ordering needs.

Pricing and Ordering: Manage pricing negotiations and place orders with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials.

Technical Coordination: Collaborate with our engineering team to address technical issues that may arise during production, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.

Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers worldwide. Some travel may be required to foster and enhance supplier relations.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, a related field or qualifying work experience.

-Proven experience in supply chain coordination, preferably in the gas turbine or aerospace industry.

-Familiarity with gas turbine parts and manufacturing processes including investment casting, grinding, turning, milling, EDMing, and coating is a plus.

-Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

-Ability to travel as needed to support supplier relations.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.

-ERP familiarity (EPICOR is ideal)
