Description: The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods throughout the supply chain. This role ensures seamless coordination between suppliers, production teams, and logistics partners to meet production schedules, minimize costs, and maintain inventory accuracy. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging components. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delays, quality, or shortages. Assist in following up with lead times with vendors. Inventory & Materials Management: Track and maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Coordinate inventory planning and forecasting based on production schedules and demand. Support inventory audits and ensure accurate records in ERP or warehouse management systems. Production & Logistics Coordination: Align supply chain operations with production schedules to ensure materials are available for manufacturing runs. Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments efficiently. Oversee order fulfillment, shipping schedules, and transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate supply chain records, including purchase orders, inventory reports, and shipping documentation. Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. Generate reports on inventory levels, supplier performance, and logistics metrics. Other Duties as assigned. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (FDA, HACCP, GMP). Work with quality control teams to address any supply chain-related quality concerns. Follow best practices for sustainability and waste reduction in the supply chain. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred or a combination of education and experience. Experience: 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing/co-packing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain software (ERP, WMS), Microsoft Excel, and data analysis. Problem-Solving & Organization: Strong analytical skills to manage multiple priorities and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate records. Sense of Urgency: Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to supply chain disruptions, and make swift decisions to prevent delays. Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers, warehouse teams, and production staff. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance is a plus. Work Environment: Setting: Office, warehouse, and production floor environments.
