**Employment Type:**Full time**Shift:**Day Shift**Description:**This entry level position is on site - Requires local residency**Position Purpose**Receives, checks and stocks all incoming supplies. Inventories, puts up and distributes supplies, equipment, and mail throughout the hospital campus.**What you will do**+ Properly identifies and marks all patient charge items using stickers or cards+ Delivers medical surgical supplies, on demand supplies and STATs as assigned Keeps accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsible+ Accurately inventories all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levels and monitors supplies in various nursing departments+ Ensures rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroom; transports supplies, mail etc. between and within both facilities**Minimum Qualifications**+ High school or equivalent for regularly scheduled positions+ One year storeroom or related experience+ Must be able to communicate in English**Position Highlights and Benefits**+ Full time 40hrs M-F days.+ Great Benefits and Health Insurance Coverage-starting Day One!+ Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment visa for this position.​**Ministry/Facility Information**Mercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
