POSITION NAME:Supply Chain/Logistics ManagerEDUCATION REQUIRED:Associate's degree in business or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Five years manufacturing experience with a strong logistical or inventory control background. Strong knowledge of general inventory control procedures. Must be able to interact with the customer effectively. Experience with automated inventory software preferred. Supervisory experience is required.PUROPOSE OF THE POSITION:Develop and lead the Production Control organization to efficiently meet all plant KPI objectives through use of The EPIQ Way.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and assure an overall strategy/plan for the Production Control department aligned to the plant KPI requirements.
  • Lead, develop and manage the PC team.
  • Assure adherence to all MRP entry and adjustment requirements.
  • Assess and develop an ongoing training program to introduce and assure the skill levels of the Production Control department.
  • Champion Powered Industrial Vehicle Safety through assurance of appropriate training and performance.
  • Lead strong problem-solving based upon The EPIQ Way, strengthening the individual's engagement in the team's objectives.
  • Provide effective, efficient, and visual methods to manage inventory levels and production planning requirements for the production line.
  • Serve as Plant Project Coordinator for the facility, assuring coordination of all changes planned for product requirements.
  • Reduce waste in all aspects of material handling, finished goods storage, and obsolescence of build-out product while assuring customer requirements are always met.
  • Assist or perform all internal inventory audits and daily cycle counts; balance monthly with scrap BOL's.
  • Serve as supplier and customer primary contact: available for 24/7 plant and customer support. Communicate with customer plant daily concerning projects, delivery, ECIs, takt time change points, process interruptions, vehicle trials, and continuous improvement.
  • Create/Review Change Alerts and Notices. Manage change through process
  • Verify part availability for Mounting Trial Schedules for production
  • Manage ECIs and Milestone change events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Use of MRP systems as primary management tool for all inventory.
  • Strong research, problem-solving and follow-through skills required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products required, primarily Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
