Job Description :

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the flow of materials and products through Naturae's production and extraction departments. This role involves coordinating with various departments, including production and quality management, to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of all inputs and supplies for the company. The role will also be responsible for working with the production manager on production planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills and hands-on experience in supply chain management, especially within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Manage the movement of goods and materials from suppliers through to production, sales, marketing, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with production and quality managers to streamline input delivery throughout the extraction and manufacturing process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce bottlenecks in the production process.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between supply chain operations and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.
  • Provide regular updates to the COO on supply chain performance and potential areas for improvement.

Logistics and Inventory Management:

  • Oversee non-distribution logistics operations to ensure accurate and efficient input delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensuring stock is available to meet production demands without overstocking.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and resolve any supply chain challenges that could impact production schedules or product quality.
  • Analyze and improve current supply chain processes for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal standards for supply chain operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all supply chain activities, including input sourcing, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or another relevant field is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management required.
  • 2 years of experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in production planning and scheduling.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Experience in production support and coordinating with production and quality managers.
  • Ability to identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
