Opportunity:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the logistics, distribution, and inventory management operations. This position will also support planning and procurement. This role is perfect for someone looking to further develop their supply chain expertise in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Quality, and marketing, to ensure efficient warehouse activities, shipping, and inventory processes.

The ideal candidate has experience in day-to-day Warehouse activities, Shipping, Logistics, along with skills in NetSuite (or similar ERP) and WMS, problem-solving, and leadership. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on our growing company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with co-manufacturers and warehouse teams to establish efficient inventory transfer protocols. Ensure optimal stock flow between locations to meet production and distribution needs.
  • Oversee and adjust inventory levels at both internal and external warehouses. Implement best practices for stock rotation and ensure optimal inventory utilization to maximize working capital and reduce waste.
  • Build strong relationships with freight forwarders and transportation companies to negotiate the best shipping routes and rates. Ensure cost-effective, timely, and efficient product deliveries while managing potential risks in the supply chain.
  • Lead the Warehouse team with organizing and implementing a comprehensive daily strategy to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Including receiving, shipping, order picking, packing, inventory cycle counts, stock replenishments and compliance oversight.
  • Provide daily operational support to the procurement team by assisting with supplier management, order processing, and ensuring that all warehouse needs are met to keep the supply chain flowing efficiently.
  • Work closely with the planning team to align inventory levels with forecasted demand.
  • Ensure proper and efficient use of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the warehouse operations. Leverage ERP functionalities to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Regularly track and report on departmental KPIs, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and cost-saving measures. Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to optimize operational performance and contribute to overall operational success.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Supply Chain Management or Business. OR Equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Warehouse and Distribution Operations
  • Experience in Logistics
  • Experience in ERP/WMS Systems
  • Strong communication skills

Reporting Structure:

Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations

Location:

Onsite at our office located in Sharon Hill PA.
