SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
SALARY: $80-100k (no bonus offered)
LOCATION: Richfield WI - ON-SITE Monday - Friday
Procurement Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Establish and manage procurement budgets while achieving key financial objectives.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure consistent supply chain performance.
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular audits and performance reviews.
- Resolve disputes and address supplier-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to align their processes with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory planning and control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
- Develop and monitor key inventory metrics, such as turnover rates, order accuracy, and stock discrepancies.
- Implement inventory management systems and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of materials in line with quality standards.
ISO 9001:2015 Compliance
- Ensure all supply chain processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
- Contribute to regular quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for supply chain activities to meet compliance requirements.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on supply chain performance and challenges.
Direct reports: 4 (3 purchasing & 1 planning)
Reports to: COO
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years' experience managing procurement and supply chain or related roles.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPSM, or similar) is a plus.
- Proven experience leading and developing people.
- Experience in a job shop manufacturing environment with high-mix, low-volume, complex, engineered products.
- Experience in a manufacturing company. A mix of large-size and mid-sized is preferred.
- Success in implementing a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture.
- Experience in operational strategic planning.
- Experience and knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
