We're rapidly expanding our team to manage the brand growth and are excited to bring in candidates who are interested in CPG x Pet.

Role Overview

Native Pet is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations team in a key role supporting the growth of our rapidly expanding brand. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee co-manufacturing partnerships, ensuring the seamless flow of raw material deliveries and finished products to our warehouse. This individual will be instrumental in driving Native Pet's growth and achieving business objectives, requiring strong communication skills (both written and verbal), exceptional organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

What You Would Be Responsible For:

  • Co-Manufacturing Management: Manage relationships with Native Pet's contract manufacturing partners, including regular communication, forecasting, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient production, supply chain alignment, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Procurement: Oversee procurement operations, including purchase order management, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization, by aligning with cross-functional teams to enhance ordering strategies, drive operational efficiency, and manage costs effectively.
  • Sourcing: Drive supplier research, approval, and onboarding to support new product development and mitigate supply chain risks, with a focus on market trends, pricing dynamics, and geopolitical factors.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, production, and procurement to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on optimizing processes and enhancing operational stability.
  • Vendor Performance: Monitor vendor performance across production, procurement, and sourcing to ensure supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards; in addition to conducting quarterly and annual vendor reviews to evaluate and strengthen partnerships.
  • Quality Support: Collaborate with internal quality and regulatory teams in gathering production documents, retains, and lot code data, with a focus on ensuring vendor adherence to supply chain standards and maintaining quality control.
  • Logistics Support: Work closely with logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation and timely delivery of goods.
  • R&D Support: Partner with internal R&D teams to drive the effective development, testing, and successful launch of new products, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards throughout the process.

What Your Background Might Look Like:

  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, or co-manufacturing management
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Cin7 Core or similar ERP/IMS system
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to work effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborative teammate who works well with others across the organization
  • Skilled problem solver who can identify problems, find the answer, and implement the solution
  • Strategic thinker who can build structure, think creatively and manage trade-offs to drive winning outcomes
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
