This involves estimating material, equipment, and labor needs while collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations. The role requires monitoring inventory levels, addressing supply chain inefficiencies, and ensuring compliance with GMP regulations and quality standards. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management techniques. This position is in-person at our Richmond Headquarters. Work Location:1900 Ellen Road, Richmond, VA 23234Requirements:
  • Estimates the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes, balancing demand and capacity
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for production
  • Monitor inventory levels, track materials usage, and coordinate with the supply chain to prevent shortages and minimize excess
  • Ensure all production planning activities comply with GMP regulations and internal quality standards
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to delivery schedules for procurement activities
  • Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Present findings to management for strategic decision-making
  • Identify and resolve production-related issues, including delays, equipment malfunctions, and resource shortages, to minimize disruptions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to facilitate smooth production operations
  • Research issues and assess inefficiencies within the supply chain to devise solutions
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing, inventory management, or supply chain
  • Associate's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
  • Possesses strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and production scheduling techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
  • Familiarity with ISO certification requirements
