Base Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + PAID RelocationWe are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Program Manager to join our client's ISR Space division, leading high-impact space programs with a focus on mission-driven technology development. In this role, you will act as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and suppliers, ensuring the successful capture and execution of programs to deliver critical solutions. Key responsibilities include:Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional supply chain efforts within Space and Airborne Systems, collaborating closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations teams to drive performance, align with procurement strategies, optimize the supplier base, and reduce acquisition costs for a flagship program.
- Identify and address operational challenges using hands-on, collaborative approaches that improve efficiency and ensure best-in-class supply chain processes.
- Coordinate deliverables and manage risk across assigned programs, tracking milestones and providing regular updates. Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure alignment of materials flow and inventory to meet supplier capacity and capability requirements, guaranteeing part availability and adjusting materials flow for line fill optimization.
- Provide technical input on design for manufacturability by reviewing engineering modifications and analyzing supply chain impacts to ensure products are optimized for cost, assembly, and testing.
- Engage in ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and product development efficiencies.
- Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to meet program and customer standards, including supplier engagement and performance oversight.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as engineering and supply chain partners and program managers to achieve aligned goals.
- Define and track supply chain metrics tailored to the requirements of space programs, monitoring progress and reporting to leadership.
- Develop and sustain strategic customer relationships, positioning the company as a trusted advisor by understanding mission needs and communicating the company's value effectively.
- Drive business strategy and uphold ethical standards, promoting the company's values and code of conduct in every aspect of the role.
Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in supply chain management with extensive experience in aerospace or defense industries. Recognized as a knowledgeable resource in the field by peers and partners. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10+ years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and 16 years of experience is also acceptable.
- Solid background in Program Management and Supply Chain, specifically within the aerospace or defense sectors.
- Security Clearance: Active secret clearance is preferred but not required however candidate must be eligible to obtain clearance.
- Contract Management Experience: Familiarity with contract types such as FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, and Cost Reimbursement.
- Subcontract Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience managing cost accounts for subcontracts, including sales forecasting.
- Willingness to travel periodically to domestic supplier sites.
