Supply Chain Specialist - FlowerHire : Job Details

Our client is a non-plant touching hardware provider of premier cannabis vaping technology. This group is scaling up operations to meet the needs in almost every market that allows for cannabis consumption as well as internationally. The company is launching new IP around its tech, as well as a new gummy portfolio for the Colorado market. They are looking to bring in a supply chain professional that understands BoM and purchasing for raw ingredients, packaging, and other non-cannabis materials.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all Supply Chain functions: sourcing, buying, procurement, inventory flows, purchasing, supply planning, and vendor relationship management
• Establish SOPs to reduce costs and maximize efficiency
• Create and implement a procurement strategy
• Lead the supplier management process to include product roadmaps, business reviews, and scorecards
• Deliver on core KPIs, including product availability, category margins, pipeline weeks of supply, on-time-to request, and excess/obsolete

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demand Planning
• Purchasing
• Proficient in Excel
• Comfortable working with manual systems
• Background working in a CPG company (food or beverage)

Experience - Nice to Have:

• Cannabis is a plus but not required
• Experience working for a start-up
