Supply Chain Specialist - CLAYTON SERVICES : Job Details

Clayton Services is searching for a Supply Chain Administrator to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Supply Chain Administrator will be responsible for supporting procurement and logistics efforts.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $60,000-$75,000/year

Supply Chain Administrator Responsibilities:

• Create purchase orders for necessary parts and services.
• Prepare and distribute quotes to suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal lead times for required products and services.
• Manage the procurement process for goods and services.
• Expedite and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services in accordance with contract terms.
• Collaborate with shipping teams to ensure all delivery requirements and support shipment inspections to verify quality and compliance.
• Conduct research and organize proposals for submission to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date tracking of all documentation, shipments, and payment records.
• Complete special projects and assignments as needed.

Supply Chain Administrator Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on numerous projects at once and multi-task.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver quality work that meets requirements and deadlines while using strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Supply Chain Administrator Education and Experience:

• A minimum of an associate's degree is preferred
• 2+ years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics experience
• Experience in energy, oil and gas, and/or engineering industries is a plus.
