Job Description :
REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade. We are backed by the world's best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $9B in orders from some of the industry's largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, as a Supply Chain Specialist (Planning/ Procurement) at REGENT, you will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge, experience, and creativity to plan and fulfill new parts to support the production of seagliders. You will work on hardware that will carry passengers and cargo swiftly across coastal regions, unlock a new form of cost-effective mobility, and launch the next generation of sustainable transportation. You will own the relationships between REGENT and assigned supply chain partners and manage sourcing strategies to minimize risk, achieve target rates, and pave the way to efficiently building seagliders at scale. This role will initially drive timely supplier selection and procurement to support the first full-scale seaglider prototype. Later, the role will transition to building a robust supply chain to support production vehicles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality to drive continuous improvement and innovation in supply chain operations.Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to resolve material-related issues quickly
    • Develop and implement material risk management strategies, identifying potential bottlenecks and mitigating risks to ensure uninterrupted supply
    • Manage and forecast material budgets, working with finance to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
    • Ensure supplier performance meets required quality, cost, and delivery metrics; work with procurement to drive supplier improvements, communicate/escalate as needed
    • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to optimize material flows, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvements in inventory management
    • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and cost variances
    • Provide regular updates on material program status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
    • Drive initiatives that support sustainability and cost reduction throughout the supply chain
Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or materials management in a manufacturing or engineering environment

    • Experience using supply chain management tools and ERP systems
    • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
