Supply Chain Support Specialist - ROUSSELOT : Job Details

Summary: The Supply Chain Support Specialist will provide the Supply Chain/Logistics Department support with daily office needs; filing, scanning and general administrative activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned:

• Creates and maintains filing systems, both manual and electronic (including scanning of documents).
• Answers phones and directs to appropriate contact as needed.
• Emails customers Certificate of Analysis (COA's) and/or other related requested documents.
• Tracks all shipments and maintain updates on spreadsheets.
• Assists with Import/Export paperwork when needed.
• Distributes Daily domestic shipments paperwork to Warehouse Assistant.
• Assists with gathering information for SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls.
• Follows all food safety procedures and practices to promote our food safety culture.
• Managing freight invoice accuracy from carriers/customs brokers, updating spreadsheets

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ Years related experience and/or training.
• Highly Proficient in function of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Must be well organized and show attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of various transportation modes/providers.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently with little supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of J.D. Edwards Enterprise One.
• Prefer 5+ years of specialized experience.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, or feel.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Extended periods spent sitting/standing at desk in front of computer screen.

Work Environment: Occasionally exposed to cold, heat, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
