IMCD US currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Warehouse Analyst. This role is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.

The Supply Chain Warehouse Analyst is responsible for managing all third-party warehouses and working with the warehouse to resolve any inventory related issues. Serving as a member of the Responsible Distribution Committee, the Supply Chain Warehouse Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that warehouses fit within the responsible distribution framework, addressing service issues with current warehouse networks, and looking for ways to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. The Supply Chain Warehouse Analyst will also partner with other team members to explore opportunities for process improvements while instilling the company's core values into the day-to-day operations of the department.

Successful candidates will be responsible to:

Saves COA's daily for all principals and inputs into Content Central.

Completes all month end reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records and maintains log of discrepancies.

Approves all warehouse invoices within time constraints and investigates high charges.

Records all warehouse issues on incident log and uses them to send quarterly scorecards for all warehouses, and monthly scorecards, if needed.

Manages incident process by sending out corrective actions to warehouse for reportable incidents and completes remaining details of incident within guidelines of RD.

Works with warehouses to develop new efficiencies and corrects service issues.

Investigates root cause and adjusts stock for Bill of Lading discrepancies and nonconformance reports.

Maintains spreadsheets of warehouse locations, warehouse contact lists, rate charges, credits/disposals, and BOL discrepancies.

Coordinates semiannual hazardous disposal.

Sends out inbound reports daily and the number of warehouse orders, as requested.

Updates SARA information for all items, as needed.

Conducts warehouse analyses to determine potential for cost savings and rate increase analyses to determine impact to IMCD US.

Investigates monthly warehouse rent report and investigates rates for warehouse above average cost per lbs.

Conducts yearly analysis to determine if warehouse locations are ideal based off changing customer market.

Analyzes and searches for new warehouses, as necessary, to correct service issues or to meet new IMCD US requirements.

Serve as a member of the Responsible Distribution Committee to ensure that warehouses fit within the Responsible Distribution framework.

Sends out and approves all annual warehouse verifications for warehouses and maintains records of certificate of liability insurance for each warehouse.

Attends and participates in department meetings and joint customer service meetings.

Meets weekly with Assistant Supply Chain Manager to provide updates on warehouses, trends, and status of open items.

Participates in ongoing education to improve personal and job skills which includes attending monthly APICS meeting, webinars, cross training, etc.

Participates in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.

Develops and completes projects to improve processes and procedures as part of 90-day action items and submit updates weekly.

Understand how this role affects other departments and the success of the company.

Resolves conflicts by assisting team, warehouses, Principals, sales, and internal departments.

Assist other members of the team, as needed, to achieve department goals.

Coordinates travel to warehouses to conduct annual physical inventories, RD audits, or to correct service issues.

Skills:

Proficient knowledge of Supply Chain Management.

Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner.

Ability to complete root cause analysis to fix problems and not symptoms.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other common computer programs, including Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business.

Proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business.

Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.

Travel

Some travel is expected for this position.
