Job Description Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for a Supply Cleark to work in Fort Stewart, Georgia. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Supply Clerk Receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns-in Organizational/Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment. Responsibilities Supply Clerk operates Unit or Direct Support Logistics Information Systems. Prepares all Unit/DS supply documents. Supply Clerk maintains automated Supply System for accounting of Organizational/Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment. Coordinates supply activities, post transactions to organizational/direct support and installation property books and supporting transaction files. Determines method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged and destroyed supply items. Must have basic knowledge of MS Office suite. May operate fork lifts. May use powered hand tools. Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling very heavy parts and loads, up to 70 pounds. Maintains tools and equipment and cleans work areas to maintain a safe work environment. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications Must have GCSS-A Certification Be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions when necessary. Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and meet Government/Army standards. Wearing safety items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. gloves, safety shoes, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and other items such as aprons or outerwear as appropriate. Employee is required to maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license and applicable Government/Army license. Perform other duties as required to support the mission and contractual requirements. Employee must be able to obtain Common Access Card within 30 days after start of employment. Must be a US Citizen able to pass a background check and drug testing. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of military experience in supply operations.
