Moline, Illinois - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Moline, Illinois. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will lead and/or support a Strategic Sourcing team with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, meet Enterprise Product Delivery Process and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process requirements/goals on product cost, schedule, and quality for the enterprise/region/division/unit. In the Enterprise Product Delivery Process, play a key role in integrating suppliers early in the process to optimize design and cost. Build and develop a supply base for procuring complex and strategic materials, products, supplies, and services. Coordinate and leads efforts to address chronic supplier performance issues.

This full-time position is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Engage strongly with order fulfillment and factory team members in support of day-to-day factory operations and ensure tire and wheel availability.
  • Lead strong supplier relationships and drive capacity analysis conversations, delivery accountability, and cost reduction execution.
  • Drive no brand preference allocation based on supplier capacity and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must for this position.
  • Experience with SAP, Sharepoint, and Power BI is required.
  • A background in Supply Chain management would help this person be successful in the role.
  • Must be familiar and have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - especially with excel.
