Supply Planner
-Contract length: 6 months
-Location: San Jose, CA (*fully onsite)
-Set pay rate: $42/hr
-Hours: Fulltime, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical and medical device company is seeking a Supply Planner to join their team in San Jose! This is a six month contract position, working fully onsite Monday-Friday.
*Candidates must live in a commutable distance.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain inventory, production, and allocation plans to achieve company objectives.
- Create and adjust schedules to meet customer service and inventory targets, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Supply Chain Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and address supply chain changes caused by new product launches, product revisions, demand fluctuations, customer expectations, promotions, and product discontinuations.
- Work proactively to mitigate risks and resolve supply chain challenges.
Customer and Supplier Relationships:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including global customers and suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze inventory levels, production outputs, and delivery timelines to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards in all supply chain processes.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or inventory management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- Experience with global supply chain operations.
