Supply Planner

-Contract length: 6 months

-Location: San Jose, CA (*fully onsite)

-Set pay rate: $42/hr

-Hours: Fulltime, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical and medical device company is seeking a Supply Planner to join their team in San Jose! This is a six month contract position, working fully onsite Monday-Friday.

*Candidates must live in a commutable distance.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain inventory, production, and allocation plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Create and adjust schedules to meet customer service and inventory targets, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and address supply chain changes caused by new product launches, product revisions, demand fluctuations, customer expectations, promotions, and product discontinuations.
  • Work proactively to mitigate risks and resolve supply chain challenges.

Customer and Supplier Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including global customers and suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze inventory levels, production outputs, and delivery timelines to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards in all supply chain processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or inventory management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
  • Experience with global supply chain operations.
