We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing an inventory plan for all skus inclusive of finished goods and packaging components. You will use your problem solving skills to ensure optimal stock levels are met while adhering to purchasing plans and maximizing sales potential across all SKUs. In this role you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and work cross-functionally with other members of our Operations team.
Key Responsibilities—
- Drive supply plan ensuring we have adequate inventory to maximize sales - Lead purchasing & procurement of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
- Own relationship with manufacturers leading calls and ensuring purchase order timing is met holding partners accountable
- Coordinate shipments and freight tracking across multiple sources such as warehouses, retailers, and manufacturers
- Maintain inventory management system overseeing item & BOM creation.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels across our various channels, working closely with our warehouse team and manufacturers and internal team to ensure data integrity
- Publish and analyze weekly inventory and sales reports to collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on opportunities for innovation and additional sell-through
- Manage handoff to warehouse and fulfillment providing accurate inbound and kitting forecasts
- Identify and research process gaps and improvements, recommend solutions, and take action to ensure corrective measures are implemented
- Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to purchasing, finance, and operations, & marketing elevating stock risks to impacted teams
Key Requirements—
- 2-3 years experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Logistics required, experience in Consumer Goods is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable insights from data - Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Skilled with Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with EDI, Cin7/DEAR, SOS Inventory a plus
