Description1st and 2nd shift available1st Shift- 7:00am- 3:30pm, Monday through Friday (overtime available on Saturdays)2nd Shift- 3:15pm- 1:45am, Monday through Thursday (overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays) * 2nd shift will receive an additional 10% to base rateSUMMARY:This role provides general support to Alloy Precision Technologies operations via the operating of basic machines, assembly, and simple process-related activities. All duties will be performed to meet or exceed Customer, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct self at all times according to Company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate production orders to be processed with supervisor.
- Process Orders according to prescribed work instructions.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to, parts cleaning, parts testing, manual fabrication, assembly, sorting, or other general factory processes as assigned.
- Duties are to be performed in a safe, consistent, and effective manner with attention to detail.
- Flexibility and being proactive are instrumental in the success of this role.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.RequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- HS diploma preferred. General factory experience 1-3 years desired.
- Technical training related to welding, machine operation, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong mechanical comprehension.
- Be willing to learn. Must have a high level of energy, be a self-starter, be results-oriented, confident, and have strong organization skills.
- Flexibility and being proactive are instrumental in the success of this role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to move throughout the shop floor.
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:While on the shop floor, you must wear safety glasses and any other required PPE for the area.
