Hiring Range: $17.00 - 20.00 depending on the service provided - PART TIME

A Brief Overview / Un Breve Resumen

Responsible for providing support to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities by presenting opportunities to access the community, creating a positive environment, assisting with daily living activities, and helping people in their homes.

• Communicate clearly with others in a respectful and professional manner.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Support activities of daily living as needed including eating, toileting, bathing, dressing, mobility, transferring, and supervision.
• Transport people safely to and from activities and appointments.
• Assist people with entering, seating, and exiting a vehicle.
• May assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, or money management as designated in service plan.
• Load and unload supplies.
• Complete and pass required trainings.
• Provide opportunities for community access by attending and participating in activities and events.
• Assist people with mobility and transfer according to safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all agency or government requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Valid Drivers License required for some services.
• Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written forms.
• Ability to use a smartphone, computer, and a tablet to access electronic timekeeping systems and email.
• Analytical thinking skills to solve routine problems using common sense.
• Basic time management skills.
