Coordinates and completes administrative tasks which are complex in nature and require the ability to work independently in carrying out assignments and managing numerous and varied tasks with a minimal amount of supervision. Plans, coordinates, and organizes work assignments and projects. Uses independent judgment to manage numerous and varied tasks for the daily functions of the office. Processes correspondence and requests for staff and management, including reviewing correspondence, determining appropriate distribution, proper response and course of action. Coordinates/assists with personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring packages and performance evaluations. Maintains confidentiality on all issues. Stays current with the latest changes on rules, procedures, and processes. Researches and advises staff about the correct application of departmental rules, procedures, policies and regulations.Assist the Senior Support Specialist in executive administrative support to the Assistant Secretary for Engineering in Operations (ASEO). Assist in the management of all administrative functions and processes for the Central Office Assistant Secretaries and District Secretaries. Provide support in meetings, trainings, and other related administrative functions.Establishes and maintains files and records of office correspondence, documents, reports and other materials. Coordinates with management and other administrative staff on purchases, transfers, and surplus of equipment to ensure department procedures are followed and in compliance. Processes purchasing card charges in Works according to procedure.Coordinates, schedules and set-up conferences and meetings for the Office/Section. Plans meetings and takes minutes as required. Maintain Outlook calendar of meetings and appointments.Reviews records and reports which require action and recommends solutions or courses of action.Performs special assignments, research, and report preparation.
