Position Information Location: Orange, CT Salary Range: $92,100 - $115,200 Schedule: Office - On Site Recruiter: Cynthia Harrall Purpose: Provides both administrative and field supervision to bargaining unit Service Technicians; resolves customer complaints; responds to emergency situations and established positive working relations with other operations related departments. Key Responsibilities: Supervises daily activities of field personnel responsible for the repair of and safe operation and installation of customer gas equipment, including compliance of various codes related to gas appliances. Develops and promotes a high standard of work by coaching and monitoring service technicians. Responds to all emergency situations as needed, and provides on-call/service center coverage as scheduled. Collaborates with contractors, builders, and fire officials regarding the administration and compliance of federal safety standard. May also be responsible for dispatch operations and assigning field crews to perform service work. Trains and advises customer service staff on billing and service functions. Responsible for daily payroll records and monitors various activities of customer service meter programs. 2-4 years of experience with gas utilization equipment required. Gas industry operations experience is required. Technical knowledge in gas utilization, pipe product, appliance parts and customer service skills Qualifications: (minimum qualifications for assignment to this job) Education: High School Diploma Experience: Associate's degree is preferred. Administrative, communication and decision-making abilities.
