VideosDuties - First level supervisor for the Comptroller Directorate directs, plans, and coordinates the activities whose mission includes management of financial related progress for DoD's only non-Service Major Range Test Facility.
- Provides agency level oversight for all financial formulation and the preparation of formal budgetary exhibits for the MRTFB, a national RDTE asset.
- Performs first level supervisory responsibilities as he/she directs a team of professional and technical personnel ranging from GS-12 to GS-14s.
- Incumbent meets with and briefs senior managers, civilian and military , and occasionally general officers throughout subordinate organizations in the routine performance of mission.
- Identifies business processes to execute the MRTFB in accordance with Defense Testing Resource Management Center (DTRMC) directive, DoD FMR 3200.11 and Title 10 U.S.C 2681.
- Provides command oversight in managing current and prior year accounts and reconciling out of balance conditions.
- Assists and coordinates all functions related to and supporting year-end closeout for the MRTFB at the multiple locations.

QualificationsSpecialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-13 if outside the Federal service, is required.Specialized experience defined as experience with reimbursable customer order processes to include Order to Cash (O2C) and reimbursable labor reconciliations; experience developing policy, operating procedures, briefings, instructions, and training materials that comply with various financial laws regulations, policies and procedures; and experience leading teams that analyze financial information, resolve issues, provide status' to metrics and making recommendations to customers and mission partners.In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position.
