****POSITION SUMMARY****

The Supervisor Service Center is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a service center, including employee supervision, customer service, inventory control, limited financial responsibility, maintenance of equipment and delivery.

****JOB RESPONSIBILITIES****

* Plans and schedules receipt and delivery of products.

* Performs routine quality inspections of incoming product and reporting quality issues.

* Maintains and executes inventory processes.

* Supervises the daily work schedules of picking, staging and loading outgoing shipments of product.

* Executes the delivery of any expedited shipments on an emergency basis.

* Measures, monitors and reports operations performance and efficiency metrics.

* Supervises the operations staff including warehouse/driver positions.

* Oversees and/or performs SAP transactions.

* Oversees continuous improvement programs through the use of Lean principles..

* Operate delivery vehicles and make regular deliveries as needed.

* Provides internal and external customer service skills and enhances business relationships.

* Maintains facility & equipment.

* Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.

* Additional duties as assigned.

****QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS****

* 2+ years of previous service center experience; or (Warehouse, Delivery, or truck drivers looking for the next step).

* 3+ years in a leadership role.

* Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.

* Basic degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

* Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

* Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

* Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts

* Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients

* Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

* Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
