SurePrep Verification Staff - SAX : Job Details

We are currently looking for full-time SurePrep Verifier Staff to join our growing firm! This role is based at our Parsippany, NJ headquarters and requires the ability to work on a hybrid schedule.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Detail oriented and ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, complete assignments independently and timely.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Manage the SurePrep tax software and troubleshooting.
• Train staff in the effective use of OCR technology and best practices.
• Support the tax professionals in their role in the review of documents and data.
• Manage the workflows of all tax returns through the SurePrep process.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to SurePrep in the tax preparation process.
• Available to work up to 60 hours per week, including nights and weekends, during tax season from February 1st through the April 15th deadline.

Qualifications:

• A tax background is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Proficient in computer skills.
