Surface Finishing Technician - Trillium Staffing : Job Details

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Surface Finishing Technician for temp-to-hire opportunities! Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p. Pay Rate $18+ depending on experience. This position requires application of hand and mechanical procedures on customer parts to remove oxidation, discoloration, and other contaminants from surfaces to achieve a desired finished appearance. Jobs require initial inspections to determine type of treatment, techniques, and amount of time to achieve desired grade of finish. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: •Follow a production schedule. •Prepare and process customer parts following specified procedures. •Evaluate the part(s) during processing for achievement of the desired finish. •Notify supervisor of wear and tear on equipment, and any equipment or other job needs as they arise. •Maintains work area in operating conditions •Performs other related duties as required.
