Surgical Technologist Processes and sterilizes surgical and hospital instruments and equipment. Assembles surgical instrument sets and trays. Distributes patient care supplies and equipment. Provides support for the surgery department by processing all sterile instruments and supplies for surgical cases, maintaining documentation of sterility and biological indicator logs, and maintaining processing equipment daily. Responsible for tracking, inspecting and processing of loaner instrument trays. Requirements: Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Sterile Processing Technician certification: Required National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred Certified Board Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST): Required Stability Direct Job ID 5375.
