SummaryEnsures the safety of tribal assets through constant observation of all assigned areas.Detailed Responsibilities* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Prepares incident reports to establish video evidence and perform frequent audits to protect the Chickasaw Nation's employees and assets* Updates and reviews current list of barred and banned individuals ensuring strict compliance* Operates a closed-circuit television system to monitor gaming and money-handling activity to ensure proper procedures are followed* Performs all other duties as assignedCompetenciesEssential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Focus on a single task for pro-longed periods of time* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines* Define problems, collect data and establish facts* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Prepares role specific reportsSkillsEssential:* Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products* Accurately type 25 words per minuteExperienceEssential:* No prior experience required.EducationEssential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentialsEssential:* Pass gaming background check* Pass Blackjack Test with 70 or higher* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking ConditionsEssential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Communications phone, computer* Communications written, verbal* Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations* Pass pre-employment drug test* Use computer up to 100% of shift* Manual dexterity* Operate normal office equipment* Sitting up to 100% of shift* Constantly work in small or cramped areas* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* May work day shift* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May be on-call* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shiftMission, Vision & Core ValuesMission:* To enhance the overall quality of life of the Chickasaw people.Vision:* To be a nation of successful and united people with a strong cultural identity.Core Values:* The Chickasaw People* Cultural Identity* Servant Leadership* Selflessness* Can Do Attitude* Perserverance* Stewardship* Trust and Respect* Honesty and Integrity* Teamwork
