Position Summary:The Survey and Certification Systems Officer is responsible for overseeing the implementation and utilization of both HMS and CMS systems for the division. They must be knowledgeable of the program needs and how the HMS or CMS systems are utilized to meet those needs. For HMS systems, the Survey Admin bridges communications between IT and the program staff. They ensure that systems work together to meet both internal and external needs. They keep up to date with CMS system changes that impact the work of the Survey Division (i.e. iQIES, ASPEN, and QCOR etc.). Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manages and oversees the implementation and utilization of both HMS and CMS systems within the Survey division.
- Assists with onboarding and ongoing training of survey staff in utilizing CMS systems i.e. iQIES, ASEQ
- Supports the Contract Training Coordinator with QSEP application when necessary
- Identifies training needs, initiates development of subordinates, and recommends effective personnel action
- Assists HMS staff in the registration process to access CMS networks and applications as needed per contract requirements
- Responsible for maintaining the HMS Staff Roster for CMS.
- Maintains documentation related to project planning, implementation, and issue resolution
- Communicates frequently with HMS IT in order to:
- Establish required HMS system updates, timelines and the impact on program staff.
- Recommend changes to HMS Survey Systems to improve overall operations.
- Share CMS system developments that could impact HMS work
- Establishes and maintains excellent communication with project staff/leadership, outside/internal customers, and other related project personnel.
- Assists with the coordination of efforts of all team members, by maintaining and disseminating accurate and timely information
- Participates in the preparation, and ensures the accuracy of project procedures and/or other manuals
- Oversees the development of processes and procedures for Survey Division operations for the following systems: iQIES, SharePoint, and Box).
- Plays an active role in business development, helping to review possible RFPs and identify new survey adjacent work opportunities. This includes attending regular meetings and taking assignments during the procurement process.

Education Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare or business-related field or equivalent and five years of related experience
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Superior communication, management, and writing skills
- Individual must have the technical expertise to design and implement a quality assurance system.
- Fluent in ASPEN and iQIES
- Basic knowledge of the QSEP system and surveyor training requirements.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft 0365
