The successful candidate will play a critical role in our high-profile infrastructure projects, providing accurate and comprehensive land surveys to facilitate the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings, roads, bridges, and other structures. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to some of the most transformative engineering projects. Responsibilities:As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for:1. Conducting comprehensive land surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys, using advanced surveying equipment and technologies.2. Preparing detailed reports, maps, and plans based on survey data, and interpreting and presenting data to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.3. Collaborating with engineers, architects, construction professionals, and planners to ensure the accuracy of survey data and the successful completion of projects.4. Using CAD software to draft technical drawings and plans, and GIS systems to analyze and manage spatial data.5. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal surveying and mapping standards, and staying updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.6. Providing expert advice on property boundaries, rights of way, easements, and other land-related legal issues.7. Assisting with project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, and contributing to project planning, design, and implementation processes.8. Conducting quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data, and identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you should have:1. A Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.3. A Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.4. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and technologies, such as total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners.5. Strong skills in CAD software, GIS systems, and other relevant computer applications.6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.8. A strong understanding of surveying and mapping standards, regulations, and legal issues.9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.10.
