Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design professionals provide a broad range of survey and engineering services to a variety of clients that include: power, energy, DOT, city, county and private owners. Responsibilities:Responsible for performing selected drafting assignments, quickly and accurately. Transform field collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) produced drawings. Produces ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, Specific Purpose Surveys, Plot plans and Subdivision Record Plats. by using Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD). Reduce field notes from field collected data into survey/civil grade base maps.
Will also work in the field on control, topographic surveys, and pipeline surveys as Instrument Man of a one, two or three-person field crew. May also perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and AutoCAD. Cut and remove brush and undergrowth for line of sight. Performs mathematical calculations and field checking of field data. Reads and understands plans and specifications.
Qualifications:Experience in Survey/Civil profession required. Minimum of 2+ Years of experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D. LASER Scanning/ LIDAR/ experience a plus.
