We're looking for a skilled and creative Sushi Chef to join our culinary team and help us continue to set the standard for proper sushi and sashimi! Position Overview: As a Sushi Chef at Kodo, you will be responsible for Preparing a variety of sushi dishes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with our culinary team to contribute to menu development and uphold our commitment to exceptional food. Key Responsibilities: Sushi Preparation: Create a wide range of sushi dishes, including rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty items with precision and creativity. Ingredient Management: Select, handle, and store high-quality, fresh ingredients such as fish, vegetables, and rice Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop new sushi recipes and menu items that Presentation: Ensure that all sushi dishes are visually appealing and meet the Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume or notable restaurant is desired.
