Sustainable Populations Section Student Assistant - Marquette - State of Michigan : Job Details

Under the daily guidance and direction of professional staff, this employee acts as support for bear and large carnivore species management and wildlife laboratory work, with potential opportunities to assist with furbearer and small game work. This employee will provide support by assisting with large carnivore observation reports, capture efforts, public inquiries, data entry, genetic sample preparation and extraction, travel for sample collection, as well as other projects as assigned. Work is performed through the application of a body of knowledge related to standard office, field, and laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies, regulations, materials, and equipment.
