Job Description :
The Global Technology coverage universe entails of US headquartered corporates operating in the Semiconductor, IT Services Tech Hardware, Telecom and supporting sub sectors (eg. Digital Infrastructure) generating annual revenues of $100MM –$3BN. Banker will be responsible for originating and managing Citi's coverage and expansion efforts, lead credit dialogue, proactively identify cross sell opportunities, drive client-centric solutions and achieve ambitious growth targets set for the business. Effectively deliver industry insights and knowledge externally to clients and the market, and internally to leadership, Risk, and other partners. This position will work closely with internal counterparts including Investment Banking, Treasury & Trade, Credit, Markets, Loan Syndications etc. The role reports directly to the CCB US Global Technology Subsector Head.Responsibilities:Originate, manage, and grow new, multi-product and multi-country client relationships. Own, respond to, uncover and anticipate future needs, roadblocks, business & industry risks and headwindsDrive innovation on the solutions we provide clients through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts, while structuring deals that balance risk and reward.“Be the Best” for our clients by understanding and delivering on clients' holistic operational, risk management, financing and strategic agenda. Be responsible for Client-level planning, budget and revenue responsibilities. Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.Drive complex multi-product solutions across multiple geographies, such as regional cash management solutions, coordinated hedging solutions and Capital raising solutions, etc. Work closely with Credit Loan Management and Independent Risk to ensure the establishment of new credit relationships as well as the monitoring of the existing credit portfolio. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all timesCalls on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectationsIntroduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolioWorks with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needsWorks closely with Case Manager on the on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met;Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;Maximizes client experience by proactive sharing markets updates, trend and intelligenceDrives innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further developing our business where necessary and appropriateNetworks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities;Administrate the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processesEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all timeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in Commercial Banking with technology client exposureActive FINRA Licensing, 79, 63 and SIE or ability to obtain once onboardSelf-starter with a team player mindset – proven track record of robust new client acquisitions and sound risk management Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processDemonstrates intermediate to advanced credit skills; structures more complex deals, including global transactionsDemonstrates an expert level of Early Warning Detection skillsDemonstrates expert level credit skills; capable of structuring all credit deals and guiding staff through the credit deal approval processDemonstrates advanced Citi's credit-process and credit-appetite knowledgeAbility to work effectively in team settingAbility to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience.Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative skills, leadership)Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisionsHighly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities, clearly communicate the prioritiesAccountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.A proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients, delivers a simple, secure and seamless client experienceAbility to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clientsAble to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insightsEducation:Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Commercial and Business Sales------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Relationship Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:CA-ONE MARKET PLAZA------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$192,000.00 - $288,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
