These key temporary positions will work on key WCR Risk and Enterprise Risk Management Policy and governance related projects which are critical to meeting Client's Consent Order and regulatory obligations.SVP, Policy Governance Manager - Banking and International Risk (BIR) – HybridThe Banking and International Risk (BIR) Policy & Governance team directly supports Client's head of BIR and establishes a robust governance for all Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) Policy, Standards, and Procedures to ensure efficient management of multi-disciplinary processes and regulatory requirements. As a key member within the WCR Policy & Governance team, the Policy Governance Manager will drive the strategic vision and oversight over the lifecycle of the WCR Framework, Policy, Standards, and Procedures. The lifecycle will include the development, enhancement, implementation, issuance, periodic review, compliance, and oversight for all WCR documents and processes. This Manager will also collaborate across all Businesses, In-Business Credit Risk (IBCR), Risk Management, various Policy teams, Internal Audit, Technology, and senior management across the Firm. This individual will support the continued transformation efforts in this area. Key Responsibilities: Policy Advisory and Strategy- provide guidance to 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense regarding Policy requirements, interpretations, and compliance. • Policy Development- provide strategic input into the development and enhancement of all WCR Policy, Standards, and Procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and simplification. Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the compliance and reviews of Policy and all related documents. • Policy Implementation and Enforcement- engage with Businesses and Global Functions to track and influence the implementation of WCR Policy requirements. • Regulatory Engagement- lead and participate in all regulatory engagement on WCR Policy and related documents. • Communication- coordinate with key stakeholders to roll-out timely communications, trainings, newsletters, etc. • Development Value: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a significant transformation effort for Client with active engagement across multiple business lines. The candidate will have organizational exposure to senior management across Client. Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in Policy development and governance • Wholesale Credit Risk or related Risk Management experience a plus (not required) Excellent written, and verbal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging • Ability to perform independently, organized, and flexible • Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented • Knowledge and understanding of financial services is a plus • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; an advanced degree is a plus (not required)
