Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, while considering build, buy, and partner decisions. Evaluate opportunities to develop new capabilities internally, acquire relevant technology or companies, or establish strategic partnerships to enhance our Customer Identity SaaS product portfolio.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse, fully remote team of over 100 professionals across product management, design, research, and developer relations, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Assess partnership opportunities to expand market reach and drive customer acquisition.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives, iterating and optimizing based on insights and feedback. Leverage data and market insights in collaboration with strategy and competitive intelligence teams to inform product strategy.
  • Stay abreast of customer, industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments related to digital identity. Gather feedback directly through consistent engagements with external stakeholders including customers, industry analysts, media, partners, and industry bodies.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in the digital identity space, participating in industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. Build strategic relationships with industry leaders, technology partners, and potential acquisition targets to drive product innovation and market leadership.
  • Represent the Customer Identity product strategy and roadmap within Okta's Executive Staff.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling enterprise-grade SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS products.
  • Previous experience in a developer-focused SaaS product is required.
  • Experience in Customer Identity (CIAM) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10 years in product leadership roles within the digital identity, cybersecurity, or cloud computing space, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. Scope inclusive of product management, product design and user research.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with customers, partners and other external stakeholders at various levels of hierarchy, from C-level executives to technical individuals.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and customer-centric approach to product development and decision-making.
  • Proven track record building and marketing through Product and Sales led motions.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements impacting digital identity, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth; remote environment; prior experience in a publicly listed company is a plus.
  • Travel domestically and internationally is required for up to ⅓ of the time.
