The SVP, Sales Manager Rhinebeck Asset Management is a key leadership role responsible for driving investment business growth, developing client relationships, and overseeing a team of financial advisors. You will provide clients with tailored investment solutions while shaping the department's long-term strategy. This position requires a blend of leadership, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to expand the bank's wealth management presence and enhance client experience.
- Lead a team of financial advisors, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for financial advisors and sales assistants to ensure the highest level of service to clients.
- Foster a cooperative relationship with Retail Banking, and Commercial Lending employees to promote a strong referral program.
- Provide training and resources to help retail banking employees identify investment opportunities and make quality referrals.
- Develop strategies and processes to ensure a seamless experience for clients seeking both wealth management and lending solutions.
- Meet with clients to assess clients' financial situations, develop personalized investment strategies, and provide ongoing guidance to optimize their wealth. Regularly review portfolios and adapt strategies to address evolving needs.
- Represent the Bank at networking and community events to build relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), strengthen the Bank's presence, and generate new business.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to drive the division's growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, addressing their financial needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Act as a point of contact for complex client inquiries or issues, working collaboratively with financial advisors to resolve them.
- Ensure that all investment related activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Provide information/education to clients about the purpose and details of financial products, services and strategies.
- Build and maintain client base, keep client plans up-to-date and acquire new clients on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate the cross-selling of various products and services offered by other areas of the Bank to ensure their timely and efficient delivery to Bank customers.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience.
- MUST have Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and Life/Accident & Health Insurance license.
- Must have a valid Driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000 plus commission.
