JOB SUMMARYAs a member of the Product & Technology senior leadership team, leads the Company's Digital Marketplace line of business and oversees the end-to-end Video strategy and roadmap delivery, including product management, engineering, and app and services software development. Oversees the organization's workforce to deliver high quality initiatives within an efficient cost structure. Leads collaboration with stakeholder groups across the business to develop and deliver on strategies relating to Video products and the Digital Marketplace. Manages the content experience across traditional and new video packages and drives user experience success and engagement metrics.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and execute the strategy for the Video organization and Digital Marketplace line of business and collaborate with leadership of other business groups (e.g., Programming Acquisition, Business Development, Cable Operations) to ensure that strategies are aligned across the Company and executed effectively.
  • Manage the lifecycle and development of traditional (e.g., set-top boxes) and new video infrastructure (e.g., Xumo Stream Box) for the nation's largest MVPD, and develop promotional capabilities (e.g., banner, takeover, Title in Guide) within Video products.
  • Drive cross-functional strategic implementation including editorial calendar, and drive monetization of video experience, via advertising infrastructure or in-app buyflow (e.g., video upgrades, add-ons).
  • Build a best-in-class digital store (Digital Marketplace), initially for direct-to-consumer applications.
  • Drive seamless Digital Marketplace customer/user interactions across all platforms (e.g., spectrum.net, My Spectrum App, Spectrum TV App, Xumo STB), and create a user experience that is simple and has industry-leading ease of activation, onboarding, and change of service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Expertise in developing and communicating business strategies, collaborating across business areas to create strategic alignment, and leading large, cross-functional teams to implement complex strategies
  • Expert written and oral presentation skills with ability to present to senior executive audiences
  • Expert influence and negotiation skills with both internal and external audiences; capable of effectively communicating on behalf of the company with external parties (vendors, regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • Proficiency in finance and accounting concepts for a large, publicly traded company and experienced in managing capital and operating expenses for several large departments
  • Competent personal computing skills and utilization of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations
  • Executive presence with ability to make decisions, prioritize and organize effectively, and solve complex problems within business critical timeframes
  • Understanding of video delivery technology, software engineering, and components involved in providing both QAM and IP video to customers
